All About You
1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!.
Okay here we go. There are two places that I would positively love to have a home in. Each home in each place is pretty different so I'll describe them for both of you.
They are as follows:
Hamburg, Germany:
My home here would be right in the middle of all the people, the city and definitely in the middle of the extremely large music scene there. I'd love to have a very exotic looking castle-like apartment, not a real house or anything, but beautiful all the same. Big, large, and towers over a lot of the smaller buildings. I'd like to be near some piece of famous architecture as there is a lot of that, but if not, by the sea would be nice as well. I'd be flexible in a place like that. I like Germany because it can get very cold, and snow a ton, and it can also be warm. It reminds me of where I'm living now. I also love big cities.
Lapland, Finland: I would love to live in Lappi in a big castle, teehee. Preferably in the west of Lapland. It's almost constantly snowing there during winter time and I'd love to climb to the top of the castle and watch the snow fall into all of the icy cold lakes. I'd live by the water, and ice-skate there as well as fish. My home would be nice and warm on the inside, because I do enjoy heating up by a fire place after being in the snow. I'd like to be somewhat close to someone, but Lapland is a pretty sparse area as it is so freaking cold. I'd have somewhere to go to see the beautiful wildlife, perhaps a cabin out in the forest. I also like the idea of living here because even though it has such harsh winters, the seasons are quite apparent when they change.
2. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain.
1. The dark. Yes, it's the generic childish fear but I really do have a problem with the dark. I don't know if I'll ever truly understand why as I am so brave most of the time. Walking through my home at night in the pitch black just gives me such a weird sense of paranoia. I don't like being unaware and the thought of something lurking that I don't know is there really frightens me. I do a lot better outside in the dark than inside- yet still. My heart rate increases, I breath harder... It's just odd as I am so nocturnal.
2. Disappointing. I hate to wrong people, and make them angry or upset with what I do. Even if it's not something I could have controlled... That's why I strive to always do the best that I can to make people around me very proud and pleased. I want to be noble and honorable, to do the best I can for people. That can also tie in very well to my third biggest fear...
3. Which is loneliness. I hate the idea of people leaving me, and me being alone. I had to grow up sort of fast and with that came a lot of people around me disappearing, dying, leaving etc. I never want to experience something terrible like that again. I'm such a lover at heart, I want everyone to be with me forever.
3. What is your favorite aspect of your physical appearance and why?
My favorite aspect of my physical appearance is my face. I think I have a very attractive, expressive face. People often know what I am thinking just because of it- but then again I can use my face to fool people as well because I can mask it completely and be blank of emotions. My eyes and lips are really what give away my secrets in the end though. Hm... I have a sweet, innocent face and I think that matches my personality rather well. I've never been rough.
4. If you could change one thing about your physical appearance, what would you change and why?
Probably my body. I do love the way it curves and is rather feminine, but a boy without muscle is hardly a boy at all and i would love to gain a little bit of muscle to show in my arms and abs. I feel like that would make me a hell of a lot more attractive.
5. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Wishing for more wishes is not permitted!
1. This is going to sound rather selfish- but I'd wish that all my relationship troubles with my boyfriend's parents were gone. I'm so sick and tired of what is going on between us [which I can't exactly elaborate on in this application.] But yeah. I'd love for all of that to just disappear.
2. I would wish myself to be youthful forever. I have a fear of growing old and losing my innocence and boyish charm, hehe. I hate the thought of dying, personally. Unless it was for the good of my loved ones.
3. I would wish my loved ones well. And by well I mean whatever would make them happiest. Some want beauty, some want money...I want to give them everything they ever desired because they have shaped me into the excellent person I am today :3
6. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;)
I guess it would have to be ...Becoming who I am today. I know I have many flaws, and I'm not perfect but no one really is. When I was like 12 and 13, I was really depressed all the time. I saw all the bad points in every situation and I didn't love myself at all. In fact, I hated myself. I hid who I was from my friend and everyone close to me. I didn't talk to anyone, I didn't have friends... I was pretty much a vegetable who could still move and breath on their own. Then I found out that wasn't me. In all honesty, I listened to my parents and I found out that they are doing everything they can for me to be happy and peaceful, and I'm not repaying them the way I should. So I made some major changes about myself. I became happy and healthy and I grew to love myself. Not in an arrogant way- just in a 'I respect me and you should respect yourself too.' I found it makes living life a lot easier. No longer am I closed off- I'm open and proud of it! I never want to feel hate again. I love to love and I think finding myself was the biggest accomplishment of my life.
7. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you?
In all honesty, all things are very important to me. Love, above all, is the most important. You can get pleasure from love, money, knowledge, family, friendship, and adventure. You can find adventure with your friends, your family and you need knowledge to know how to handle money and such. Friendship and family give you love. Sometimes money- and you can use money to pleasure yourself and your loved ones. Everything goes full circle.
8. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values?
"Well, life is (too short), so love the one you got
'Cause you might get run over or you might get shot
Never start no static I just get it off my chest
Never had to battle with no bulletproof vest
Take a small example, take a tip from me
Take all of your money, give it all to charity
Love is what I got
It's within my reach."
Sublime- What I got.
9. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you?
I was raised Jewish so money is very important to me [Haha.] Seriously, I like to keep track of the money I spend. I don't like to spend it on impractical things. THAT SAID- I do own an Asian Ball Jointed Doll which are roughly 200-500+ dollar resin dolls. That is said to be a very bad financial choice, but hey, I'm young and I love to collect. So basically, I will spend money on things if they make me happy, or if I can give it as a gift to someone. But I'm usually very practical with the way I keep money.
10. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office?
Makeup artistry: I am a freelance makeup artist for my own portfolio's and photo shoots. Also- I help out if a friend ever needs some makeup art done. As a guy, this is kind of a shocking hobby to have but I hope to really break into the industry someday.
Hair design: Along with my makeup art, I love to cut and style hair. I do it for anyone who is willing, and I style hair for photo shoots/portfolio's.
Writing: I am a very avid writer. I roleplay online [shameless plug -nudgenudge-] , write short stories, poetry, prose and at times I even start novels. [The farthest I have gotten is 10,000 words into one, though.] I love character creation above all elements of writing. That's what really attracted me to ASOIAF.
Music: I am HUGELY interested and involved in the music scene of where I live, and around the world. I listen to music from all over- literally I think I must have a song/band from every country on my iPOD XD. I'm a trained opera singer, but I enjoy singing rock and reggae too. I even rap. So music, no matter what kind, is probably one of the most important things to me. I'll always support bands, add them on myspace, promote their CD's and whatnot... Mmn, I sing in my high school choir which has had the pleasure of being invited to the National Cathedral, Epcot Center, and Hillside Church Music Festival. I also do competitions twice a year at college level.
11. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical).
Best:
1. My unconditional love: I believe that everyone, no matter who-what-when-where-why, should be loved. No one is an exception - unless they have wronged me or my family.
2. My unique-ness: I find that I am becoming increasing unique and even enigmatic sometimes. I think everyone is complex and I include myself in that mix. I have wild hairstyles, wear rainbows everywhere, have eccentric and girly speech patterns...Typical for your average fag. But I haven't even figured everything out about myself and I feel as though I am a puzzle. A fun puzzle.
3. My drive to help: I've always had a healer's complex. If I find someone who is cold and closed off, I will work on breaking them down and help them feel emotions again. And if someone comes to me crying, I will do my best to help them. It doesn't always work because I am a little too much energy for a lot of people, but I always try.
Worst:
1. Sometimes I get a little too hot-headed about what I believe in and speak too soon. I am stubborn, and bold and if I want something done I will not be meek about it. But mixed with my eccentricity it is often overbearing.
2. I am a very selfish person, actually. I act kind of like a spoiled child if things don't end up going my way even though I try to be strong... It doesn't always work out. I wish I could change this about myself above all.
3. I am extremely prone to panic and stress attacks. I let things get under my skin and into my brain and I will not stop thinking about them until they are solved. And let me tell you, I don't always use the best methods to solve them.
A Song of Ice and Fire Related
1.Which is your favorite book of the series so far? What about your least favorite?
In all honesty, I only have the first three finished- so I'm going to have to say 3 and 1 are my favorites, 2 is not my least favorite but it is just not as exciting as the others.
2.Who are your favorite three characters in the series?
Just three?
You're killing me. Please let me do four?
Robb Stark, Sansa Stark, Sandor Clegane, and Loras Tyrell.
If you took Robb and Sansa's personality and mixed in a little bit of gay [okay, a lot] from Loras, you would pretty much have Jeremy. Robb is my bold side, my grew up too fast and makes wrong decisions side. Sansa is my quiet, mellow and does whatever is asked of me side. Loras is my eccentric, flowery and kind side. Hm.. Sandor is the kind of man I would find myself trying to fix, and trying to make fall for me in the process, hehe. Burns are a plus, too. They intrigue me. Hm...It's just that all of those characters are halfway between minor and major. There's a lot of room for personal interpretation.
3.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series?
Hm... Cersei, Joffrey, and hm... I don't really have any other least favorites at the moment. Those two are just so vile and disgusting. And played a part in killing my Eddard. That is not even cool. -Snaps fingers.-
4.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far?
Ahh, I cannot choose. Really I can't. I do love whenever I see Sansa and Sandor together, hehe. But that is for personal [OTP] reasons. I hate the scene, but a very SHOCKING scene was when Eddard died. I really truly didn't see it coming.
5. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end?
Heh.
With happiness and no more freaking deaths XD.
