Name: Rhianna, or just plain Rhi
How did you find out about the community? If it's through an LJ user, please tell us who it is: I actually found you guys through westeros.org. :)
Age: 27!
Location: Missouri, USA
Occupation: I am a stay-at-home mom to a beautiful 3 1/2 year old girl. :)
All About You
1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!. Okay, well, I definitely do not want to live anywhere that is too hot. Even the summers here in Missouri are killer to me! I grew up in Wyoming, among all the mountains, and I'd adore living there again. I'd love to live in a relatively rural area, in a big, Victorian-type home, with lots of land surrounding it. I wouldn't want to be too far from a big city, though, I do like the comforts and convenience of civilization. ;) But I also prefer to not live in the midst of a metropolitan area.
2. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain. Heights. Absolutely they terrify me. Any kind of bug freaks me out. And I haaaaate severe thunderstorms, floods, tornadoes, etc. I'm kind of a wimp. lol
3. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Please be as elaborate as you can. Wishing for more wishes is not permitted! Um, money, definitely. Enough that me and my family are taken care of for the rest of our lives, enough to ensure that my daughter and any other children my husband and I might have are able to have a good education in the future. As stupid and cheesy as this is, I'd also wish for some semblance of peace in the world. There's just too much bad shit going on, and if a genie could make just SOME of it stop, well, that's good, right? And I think I'd wish for a chance to see the entire world, because there's so much more out there than this little area that I live in, and I want to see it all.
4. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? Why? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;) Again, this is really freaking cheesy and lame, but my daughter is my greatest accomplishment so far. She just amazes me even more every single day, and I'm astounded that she's mine.
5. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you? Please explain why for each choice. Family, definitely, is the most important. I can't imagine any amount of money or adventure making me happy without my husband or my daughter with me. Least important would probably be adventure, to me. Sure, there are things I want to do, but put in perspective with everything else on this list, it definitely doesn't rank high with me.
6. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values? Explain. "The heart has reasons that reason does not understand." I've always loved this quote (and all the variations of it), because I see myself as much more of a feeler, than a thinker. Not that I'm dumb! lol I just tend to follow my gut/heart over my head in most situations. :)
7. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you? Go into as much detail as you can. I'm actually pretty terrible at managing money. I'm kind of one of those people that, if I have the money, I want to spend it OMG RIGHT NOW. My husband is a much better budgeter, and I'm fully convinced that he's the reason we're not totally broke all the time. ;)
8. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office? I love to write and read. I love music and laughing with friends. I like watching the snow fall. I like playing video games. I like having long moments of contemplation, where I seriously just sit and do nothing but let my mind wander.
9. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical). Please answer as fully as you can, as this is an important question. Best qualities -- I am very empathetic to others. I am able to put myself in others shoes and understand how they're feeling. I am able to cheer people up when they feel sad. I manage to stay positive and optimistic in even the most dire of situations. My worst qualities -- I can be a little naive, a little too trusting of others. My optimism can also be seen as a weakness, as sometimes I'm not really able to see the big picture, or see people for what they really are. I'm also very socially awkward and painfully shy, which makes me come across as aloof and bitchy at times, even though I'm really not.

1.Who are your favorite three characters in the series? Why? Daenerys, Jon Snow, and Brienne. Dany because I just love her story's arc, I love seeing how she's grown from a scared little girl into a force to be reckoned with. Jon because I really identify with that whole, feeling like you don't belong thing that he has going on in the first book. And because he's becoming SUCH an amazing young man as the series progresses, I love reading all of his chapters. Brienne I like because I know what it's like to be an outsider, and to be looked down on because you're not the most "beautiful" person in the world. I like her personality, and how she's still so honorable, after everything else. To me, she's THE most honorable person in the series.
2.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series? Why? Cersei, Joffrey, and Theon. They can all three be summed up by the fact that I really can't stand selfish sociopaths, and all three of them are definitely that. Don't get me wrong. I find Cersei to be a very nuanced and interesting character -- but I still can't wait for her to get her comeuppance, and I wouldn't shed a tear if she died. I didn't, as a matter of fact, cry over Joffrey's death, because I found him to be reprehensible. And Theon is just ... ugh, I never liked him, not from the moment he kicked Gared's head in A Game of Thrones onward. He didn't do anything that earned my favor later, either. :p
3.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far? Why? The birth of Dany's dragons, by farrrrr. That moment literally made my jaw drop. There have been other awesome twists and turns in the plot since then, but that one was definitely the moment I decided that this series was the most amazing thing I'd ever read.
4. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end, and why? Dany on the Iron Throne, with Jon Snow (maybe Stark by then) and Tyrion as the other two "heads of the dragon". I also wouldn't hate it if Dany and Jon were to marry. And I'd love to see a Stark or two back at Winterfell. (Yes, I'm a Stark supporter.)
