All About You
1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!.
Oh, this one is easy. The house would be in Ireland or Scotland, built on a gently rising hill that drops off into a sheer cliff where the sea can pound against it. It would be far away enough from the town that I could see it from my window, but close enough that I could ride down and grab a drink at the pub. It would be built of smooth, dark grey stone masoned so precisely that the stones would fit seamlessly together, both for aesthetic reasons and to withstand the weather, which would be fairly turbulent and wild, but beautiful. Trees would fill the land between the walls of the house and the watchtowers, all sorts of trees that would turn a riot of color in the fall and be allowed to grow as they would, being pruned only so that the others may live. The house would rise above the level of the trees, but not too much, maybe a story or two, so that I could have a wonderful view of the trees, the land stretching out below, and the sea, through any of the many large windows. A wonderfully wrought iron gate would be guarding the cobblestone road leading up to the house.
2. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain.
1. Falling. I have a terrible fear of falling, and I really can't explain why. I refuse to ride rollercoasters because I hate the sensation of freefall.
2. Creepie- crawlies. This encompasses all manners of small creatures that can fly in your face or crawl across your foot, though I am more of a 'hunt it down and kill it' scared than a 'jump on the table and scream' scared.
3. Losing the love of my life. I love my husband dearly, and I can't imagine life without him.
3. What is your favorite aspect of your physical appearance and why?
I and quite fond of my eyes. They are hazel (which, to me, means brown-green-gold) and they change color. I've often been told my eyes are the most expressive part of me as well as my most outstanding feature because so few people have my eye color.
4. If you could change one thing about your physical appearance, what would you change and why?
Can't I be just a little bit taller? Just a bit? no more than 2 inches, I promise, that's all I want!
5. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Wishing for more wishes is not permitted!
1. That my husband would get a job doing what he loves and is going to school for, Game Art and Design, when he graduates.
2. That I get a job doing what I love (something Ancient History related) when I graduate- eventually.
3. I'd pull the troops from Iraq, and give one of them the lamp. :)
6. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;)
Honestly, I am the most proud of the fact that I actually joined the Navy. The Navy (despite its downs) has given me many opportunities to travel and see things that I would not have normally.
7. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you?
Most: Family. Everything I do, I do to secure my family's future. (This goes with love, but I could only pick one.)
Least: Adventure. Seriously, you can only take so much adventure in one lifetime. I've been around the world already, it gets a little old after a while.
8. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values?
Fear profits man nothing.
9. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you?
Financial security is very important to me. Its why I'm still in the Navy- steady pay, good benefits. I refuse to live like I did when I was growing up- scrabbling for money just to stay alive.
10. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office?
Drawing: I love to draw all manners of things, but mostly people/ characters.
Music: I cannot get through my day without listening to music
Reading: I've always had a passion for books. I'd have my nose in a book during class in elementary and high school. It got me into trouble more often than not, but I couldn't help it. Just one more chapter!
Games: I love games of all sorts- board games, video games, card games, rol-playing games, etc. Anything that can keep my active imagination occupied is good.
11. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical).
Best:
1. I'm very, very patient. I have to deal with 150+ just- out- of- high- school and first time away from home students a day, with all of their questions, and problems, and issues. Patience is a must.
2. I'm a good listener. Sometimes, thats all people really need.
3. I'm very positive. I like to think good things will happen, if you try hard enough
Worst:
1. I'm not very proactive. Really. I like to sit back and handle things as they come up. There really isn't that much out there to stress about.
2. I am a procrastinator. If it can be done later, it will. I would rather sit and listen to someone's problems than do the paperwork I know needs to get done.
3. I love junk- food. Especially chips of all sorts. If there isn't a bag of chips in my desk, I"m not happy.

1.Which is your favorite book of the series so far? What about your least favorite?
Well, in all fairness, I've only read the first 3, but I'd have to say A Game of Thrones is my favorite- the plotline set ups were just brilliant. My least favorite? Don't have one yet. :)
2.Who are your favorite three characters in the series?
I only get 3? :sigh: Ok. Oddly enough, I love Jaime Lannister. He really is the kind of guy you love to hate, at first. And then just- wow. And Tyrion, because that little man is just devious, and sneaky, and devious, and I love it. And Davos Seaworth. I admire his loyalty (and I love his story), despite the fact I believe Stannis is an underserving bastard.
3.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series?
Cersei is, hands down, the one I want to die the most. Stupid, conniving broad. Petyr Baelish, mostly for the part he plays in Ned's downfall. And Lysa Arryn, because, come on! Seriously, woman, you need to get out of the house more often and discipline that child of yours!
4.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far?
Jon Snow killing Quorin Halfhand. Not that I dislike Quorin, but that whole scene was just brilliant!
5. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end?
He he he. I don;t think it ever truly would end, in my twisted little imagination.
