All About You
1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!.
It would have to be in a lush mountain range, as far as the environment/geography goes. I love the sound and beauty of the ocean and sea, but I don't think I could actually live near either (wide expansions of land/water where you can see absolutely nothing make me nervous). I don't mind lakes at all, though. And having enough room outside for a decent sized garden is an absolute must, as well as a personal observatory.
I think I'd dislike having a large mansion (too much space), but I wouldn't want anything too small either. Something along the lines of 3 well-proportioned bedrooms, 2½-3 bathrooms, and a sun room on the second floor. The first floor would be the living room (with a giant stone fireplace), the dining room, and have a well-stocked and applianced kitchen with a lovely patio/deck. Heated flooring would be through the whole house for cold days and nights.
Bookshelves would be pretty much everywhere. The furniture must be both aesthetically pleasing and super comfortable. I'm suuuper picky about my digital entertainment, but a nice entertainment center and movie and video game library would be pretty nice. I'm not one for eleventy-million television channels, though.
2. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain.
Open spaces: I've never really been able to understand why I have this fear, but I do. If I spend too much time in an open space, a bad panic attack is inevitable.
Asphyxiation: I've had moderate asthma since I was little. I've never had an attack severe enough to be rushed to the hospital, but I hope I never do. The breathlessness from the ones I do occasionally get are bad enough and make me absolutely terrified of any form of asphyxiation.
Deep water: Pool, pond, lake, sea, ocean. It doesn't matter. It scares the BEJEEZUS out of me, and goes so much at odds with loving the look and sound of large bodies of water.
3. What is your favorite aspect of your physical appearance and why?
I'll be original and say my eyes. They're hazel, and I enjoy manipulating the colours in them to bring out a specific colour and dominate the others.
4. If you could change one thing about your physical appearance, what would you change and why?
My teeth. I have one of those frustrating sets of parents that pay mind to some things and totally ignore other (and sometimes more important) things. Dental care was one of them. Could be worse, but it makes me self-conscious.
5. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Wishing for more wishes is not permitted!
1) Lifelong financial stability.
2) Teleportation. Haha.
3) To acquire of knowledge or whatever I want, even if it's not entirely "legal" for me to know.
6. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;)
Accomplishments are one thing I'm not too prideful over. I actually, honestly and sincerely, have no idea. I suppose the closest thing is having a bit of natural musical talent and quickly learning how to play the piano. Quickly enough that my teacher bragged about me after a public performance. D: A tad embarrassing, but she seemed really happy.
7. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you?
Most important: I'd almost say friendship is the most important, but I realised that the knowledge of something has lead to friendship with any of my closest friends; I seriously love intelligent chats.
Least important: Adventure. As much as I like the adrenaline rush of a good one, they can serve a generous helping of Whoopass as well.
8. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values?
"Stories never really end, even if the books like to pretend they do. Stories always go on. They don't end on the last page, any more than they begin on the first page." Inkspell by Cornelia Funke.
9. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you?
I'm a bit of a penny-pincher, though not to the point where I don't save money towards treating myself to something.
I didn't grow up well, so financial security ended up being very important to me.
10. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office?
If I'm not reading, I'm probably not feeling well physically and/or emotionally.
I enjoy gaming, albeit not as much as I used to. I admit I've logged way too many hours in Oblivion. And, as of late, any mention of BioShock turns me into a squeeing fangirl.
I love to work in the kitchen. I just wish I lived in an area with a more extensive variety of food, spices, etc. I have a serious weakness for Thai and Indian food, but can't find some of the key ingredients locally.
11. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical).
Best:
I'm fiercely loyal to anything I believe in and to people I really care for.
I'm pretty open-minded about anything, even if I really do disagree with it.
My willingness to listen. I'm usually that person people go to try and figure out their problems. I almost listen too much out of habit, because I often catch things I'm not supposed to hear.
Worst:
How stubborn I am. I really am stubborn to a fault.
I have a really hard time trusting people, and it's probably cost me several friendships.
If life has recently thrown me too many curve-balls, in succession, over several years, I'm very prone to defeatism.

1.Which is your favorite book of the series so far? What about your least favorite?
It's too hard for me to decide; This is like asking me what my favourite band is, aha.
2.Who are your favorite three characters in the series?
Arya Stark. She kicks ass and takes names, and I've liked her even before she did so and was a scrawny little rat.
Jaime Lannister. I actually hated him before AFfC, but he totally redeemed himself in that installment. Especially with how he handled Cersei.
Daenerys Targaryen. My love for her was almost immeditate. I am worried that she'll go through too much and become too apathetic, though...
3.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series?
Cersei Lannister. I'll actually leave it at that, because I feel the sudden urge to snarl and my throat has visibly tightened enough to make Angelina Jolie blush.
Catelyn Stark. She's just... dull. So dull.
Joffrey Lannister. I want to set him up on a blind date. With my fist.
4.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far?
I can't decide. The birth of Dany's dragons and the Red Wedding are pretty vivid in my memory. And I have a Beauty and the Beast complex, so any moment with Sandor and Sansa as well as Jaimie and Brienne turns me into a fangirl.
5.In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end?
I don't think I even know yet. The only things I'm sure of are for Arya to kill Cersei and for Sansa to become a strong woman.

You are so a Stark. :)

Just... things. Tones. You seem to stand at a bit of a distance, as it were, which is certainly Stark-like. Give proper thought, then a rather concise answer; no need to be wasting words. You've got the very not-arrogant vibe going on (Seeing accomplishments, etc.), which seems to be a mark of the more mature Starks, at least (and can be hopin' to Christ the others follow). Not necessarily seeking adventure which, again, seems more for the mature than the chilluns, but yes... Starks with the sense to know that it's better to keep to the North, keep from interfering with the others. Aye, it's that sort of sensibility that shows through much of your app and guided much toward the Stark-vote.
And, aye, they do seem to prefer the not-so-very open spaces. Give 'em trees, somewhere to prowl, observe, keep to themselves and only attacked when informed/as is necessary; never know what to expect with those open spaces, nein. Also, does seem they'd be the sorts to listen; goes with the ability to keep their own words to a minimum (while getting meaning in there, and impressing that sense noted above, aye). Stubbornness and difficulty trusting others? God, yes. Starks know the lessons before they even fall into 'em (though that loyalty can drag them into somewhat unfortunate situations, non?).
Also. The quote? That one seems decently in line with "Winter is coming." Thinking to the future, considering time's passage rather than being stuck in the moment. And considering it in ways beyond the self, aussi, which does seem a very Stark way to go. SO THERE IS.
Extra points for using "BEJEEZUS," by the bye, and double on the extra points for capsing it. :D

You seem to vivid a person in order to belong to the Starks, though they've been an active idea throughout the reading of your application, and you lack the broody, bordering or even aiming insanity sort of behaviour the Targaryens display.
