All About You

1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!.

It would have to be somewhere that I can be one with nature. Somewhere a little isolated from the city, because I don't care much for the bustle of a city life. I prefer a little time to myself. I would like a nice cozy home for myself, where I can be alone when I wanted to and have my personal space respected. I'm a fan of spartan decoration and I hate cluttering up my house, so it would be sparsely decorated, although still comfortable.

2. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Please be as elaborate as you can. Wishing for more wishes is not permitted!

1. I would wish to live forever. I don't think now is the ultimate future. I want to live long enough that I can see what steps humankind takes in the future, what new discoveries are made, and so on.
2. I would wish for the ability to have money at my fingertips whenever I want it. Money can't buy happiness, but it sure doesn't hurt.
3. I would wish that I and my family would live a happy and carefree life. I love my family and we haven't had an easy life so far, what with uprooting and getting poor because of that uprooting and working day and night to save up enough money to get by. We are finally, now at a point where we are financially stable and comfortable, but it never felt good before, never knowing whether you'd have enough money in the coming months. Because of that, I'd like for a chance for a carefree life.

3. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? Why? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;)
I have nothing particularly to be proud of. However, I am proud of standing up to everything that life has thrown at me. I'm proud to have not run away from some of the tough problems that I have faced.

4. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you? Please explain why for each choice.
Most important would be my family and friends, equally. I love them equally and dearly, and will not let anything happen to them if I can help it.

The least important would be pleasure because I don't care about pleasure. In fact, I quite revel in unpleasurable activities, because I believe that it is the tough things in life that make you stronger and a better person.

5. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values? Explain.
"In the end a gentle heart may be worth more than pride or valor."

This is a quote from A Song of Ice and Fire that I like very much. I do believe in the world we live in, a little kindness is worth giving, even if it goes unappreciated.
Bravery is nice and you need some pride to have a backbone, but kindness is something very few people really have, and I find it a precious thing.

6. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you? Go into as much detail as you can.
Like I sad, my family was not well off until recently, and growing up we always had to worry about whether there was enough money to tide us through the next month or so. So, I was made acutely aware of the importance of money from a young age. You need money to survive, period. But I've never really put importance of money. Possibly having not much of it meant that I never truly understand how important it is. I just want enough money to get by. That's it.

7. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office?
My favourite hobby is reading. I read a lot, mostly fantasy books and some. I also like to go hiking. Like I said before, I love nature, so hiking is very important to me.

8. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain.
Drowning - I have an irrational fear of drowning. Seas and large bodies of water scare me badly, because I get terrified by how it must feel to be held underwater to die. What a horrible way to die.
Losing my family - We've been through a lot together, so I'd like for us to stick it to the bitter/not-so-bitter end together. Because really, who in the world do you have, if you don't have your family?
Failure - I am afraid of failing in life, of failing my classes, of not being able to get into the university that I want to get into. I am afraid of failure in general.

9. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical). Please answer as fully as you can, as this is an important question.

Best:
Honesty - I am honest to the point of being blunt. Sometimes people are turned off by this, and I have lost friends due to this (they said so straight to my face). However, my oldest friends appreciate it. I like being honest and I like other people being honest with me, because then we know where we stand with each other, and there's no space for miscommunication.
Quiet - I am quiet and uncommunicative but on the other side, I'm a good listener. People often come to tell me their problems because I have a sympathetic ear waiting for them.
Kind - I like to think that I am kind. I do my best to help people when I can, even when I know they're not the type to help me back.

Worst:
Loner - I am not a communicative person. I am not good in social gatherings. I am a fun person when I'm with my friends, but you probably won't find me going to a big party and being a center of attention. Part of it comes from low self-esteem, but part of it is also that I am just not interested in talking and carrying on a conversation with someone I don't know and probably
Temper - I don't suffer fools gladly. I get very impatient very fast with idiots. This is not good because I'm always facing idiots at my retail job. You know, entitled customers who think they're owed the world by a store just because they buy an item worth 3 dollars?
Rude - The flip side of honesty is that I can come across as blunt and brusque to the point of being rude. Needless, I don't have many friends besides my old and close friendship circle ^.^;

A Song of Ice and Fire Related

1.How many books from the series have you completed?
All of them.

2.Who are your favorite three characters in the series? Why?
Arya Stark - She is just the ultimate badass. She was my favourite from the start, and I picked her as the one character that I could immediately identify with, as a scruffy tomboy. I like that when even stronger people have succumbed to death, this tiny slip of a girl just keeps going. Her resourcefulness, her stubbornness and her wilfulness all drew me to her at once.
Jaime Lannister - How I hated Jaime when he first appeared in the series. Then of course, he had such a compelling narrative that I couldn't help but be drawn in. I tried to fight it, my growing like for this complex character, but I had to give in finally. I like that he is a cruel, terrible person who has done unforgivable things. But at the same time, he did it all for love. I hope he keeps on the path that he is on by the end of Feast for Crows, and I was quite disappointed to see so little of him in ADWD.
Robb Stark - He is such a tragic character. "He won all his battles, but lost his head". It is not so much that I found Robb interesting, as that his story makes me break out in tears. I wish he had listened to his mother and the Blackfish. I wish he had kept to his vow to marry Walder Frey's daughter. I wish he hadn't done the honorable thing. But he did, and he died for it. I just think of him as this little boy trying to wear a crown that is too big for him, and he is trying so hard and comes so close, but still loses it all anyways. I think when I read about the Red Wedding, because I read it from Catelyn's PoV I found it a hundred times more heartbreaking that I would normally have.

3.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series? Why?
Walder Frey - I fully admit that this is an irrational hatred. I hate Walder for the Red Wedding. I absolutely loathe him for it. I loved Manderley's pie scene. I can only hope Walder gets baked into a pie soon.
Lysa Tully - She has been through some terrible things, but at the same time, I just can't bring myself to like or sympathize with Lysa Tully. My dislike was cemented by her treatment of Catelyn and subsequently, Sansa. I just think she's despicable.
Qyburn - He is so creepy. I just want him to die, so that he can stop his sick experiment. I despise this twisted man.

4.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far? Why?
When Jaime saves Brienne in the bearpit. I love the entire scene. Jaime rushing in to save her took me by surprise. Then I laughed with glee when Brienne told him to get behind her. When they defeated the bear together, it was just amazing and one of those few moments in the series when I forgot all about the gloom and impending doom, and just cheered for good triumphing over evil. (I realize how corny that sounds.)

5. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end, and why?

I want Jon to somehow be acknowledged as Lyanna and Rhaegar's son, and hopefully join forces with Daenerys. I want Aegon to turn out to not be the legitimate heir, or to bend the knee to Dany. I also want to Dany to become a good queen of Westeros. I want my girls Sansa and Arya to be reunited and hold the north together. Sansa for the Queen in the North!
