All About You
1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!.
I think I'd like to live in the woods or something. Preferably a really cool tree house. I’d still like to be relatively close to a road, so I wouldn't be stuck in the woods forever. I wouldn't want to live anywhere really hot. I could handle really cold whether or cool, rainy areas.
2. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Please be as elaborate as you can. Wishing for more wishes is not permitted!
Unlimited Money: I don’t think there would be any down side to having tons and tons of money. I’m notoriously awful with money, so I would really enjoy not having to pay attention to it running out. This seems to be a family trait, so I would want to help them get back on track.
Invisibility: Not permanently, but I would really like to go from visibility to invisibility, whenever I wanted. I get super nervous that people secretly hate me, so I would like to get conformation on whether or not this was true. I could also be a super hero if I wanted to.
Time Travel: I guess this would just be another super power, but I’m always putting my foot in my mouth or just not picking up on certain things right away. I would really want to time travel so I could sound really witty and intelligent when I normal wouldn’t.
3. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? Why? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;)
I got fired from a job illegally at a community college; there was a huge list of issues that I don’t need to go into. I went and handled the situation by myself against a woman who was lying so I wouldn’t be paid. I had to deal with a bunch of Deans and the president. In the paid the full amount plus the money they were trying not to pay me.
4. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you? Please explain why for each choice.
Oh geez, its really close between knowledge, love, friendship and pleasure, but I guess pleasure. I feel like pleasure would encompass all of the things I want. I probably wouldn’t find much pleasure in my life if I had no friends and nobody loved me or if I didn’t know anything. This is probably cheating, but whatever.
The least would be family. I know I said that if I had unlimited money I would help my family out, but that is probably because I’m selfish and wouldn’t want to deal with them if they had no money. I don’t really feel obligated to most of my family and could totally do without them. I think the people you are closest to are the ones you choose to be close to, not the ones you have to by blood.
5. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values? Explain.
This sounds very immature, but I’m probably the least serious person ever. I’m not really willing to dwell on problems and if I have them I’m finding the quickest way out. I think most people focus on these things way more than is necessary and its just ruining their quality of life.
6. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you? Go into as much detail as you can.
I don’t. I do not understand a single thing about numbers, bills, banks or paychecks. I just look every two weeks when I get paid and geusstimate how much money I have throughout the week. Since I’m going to school full time and working only part time, my paychecks are really small, so that money runs out really fast.
Financial security would probably be one of the things I would want the most. I’ve never had a ton of money and my family has always struggled with it. I would like to not have to worry about how absurdly I spent my money that week.
7. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office?
My hobbies are Pokémon, following pop-culture, writing letters and hanging out with my friends. I just like Pokémon, they’re fun and I’m good at it. Basically anytime on my laptop I’m reading about some pop culture thing. I don’t even know why I invest so much of my time into it Writing letters is a fairly new hobbies, but my best friend in in boot camp right now and letters are the only way she gets in contact with her. I know most of her friends aren’t writing so I make a point to send her a lot of them. My friends are really important to me, even though we do the same thing almost every time I hang out with them I always have fun
8. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain.
Birds, rejection and humiliation.
Birds are just scary. They can fly, swim and walk. The have an unfair aerial advantage and are untrustworthy.
Rejection is probably what I’m most afraid of. I have a really hard time making friends or even hanging out with the ones I have because I’m afraid they are busy or just not interested in me. I can be with them every day and know they love me, but asking them for anything is the hardest because I don’t want to be a burden.
I naturally have a self-deprecating sense of humor so it does take a lot to really embarrass me. When some one is able to make me look stupid or when I make myself look stupid I want to cry. This is probably coupled with my crippling fear of rejection.
9. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical). Please answer as fully as you can, as this is an important question.
My best three are probably that I usually pretty easy to get along with, I’m well read and I’m a good liar.
I’m okay at reading other people’s body language and remember their interests so I usually find a way to get along with everyone. Even if I never talk to them, people never have a problem with me.
I just like being able to say that I read and can talk about books. Not that it makes me special, but I take some pride in being able to say I’ve read xy and z.
Being liar is probably bad, but since my main way of getting along with other people is by talking about people we both hate, it is very important. I very never been caught doing something that I know I shouldn’t and my ability to lie well is probably my favorite thing about myself.
My worst three is that I do not accept authority very well, I second-guess myself and I tend to over think my intelligence.
If I am told what to do, I will be really immature and try to do the exact opposite. It doesn’t even matter if it is probably a better idea than what I thought in the first place, I feel like it is a personal attack on my intelligence. I second-guess myself about everything, which coupled with my weird sense of entitlement. I get nervous that what I’m doing to going to be detrimental to me and I end up playing it safe when I could have done something that would have been great. This is probably my worst trait. I’ve been told I am smart my entire life, so I just assume I don’t need to study, take notes or start things on time. It almost always comes back to bite me, but I do it every single time.

1.How many books from the series have you completed?
I’ve finished all of them
2.Who are your favorite three characters in the series? Why?
Asha, The Hound and Sansa.
Asha because she is fearless. She’s probably the most competent Greyjoy and is dismissed because she’s a woman. Even though everyone trying to ruin her she doesn’t stop and is a bad ass.
The Hound is just really interesting. His ability to work with people has been destroyed by his brother is almost every imaginable way, but still wants to be like everyone else. He’s pretty awful to people but I don’t really feel like he would be a bad guy if his childhood was different.
Sansa has pretty much had everything she ever wanted ripped from her and is managing to grow with it. She’s been stuck in Kings Landing where she was beaten and threatened daily, her only real ‘prince charming’ is Sander and that’s not great and now she’s with Littlefinger and he’s a creep. I think she’s going to turn out to be one of the most interesting characters.
3.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series? Why?
Tyrion, Damphair and Ramsay Bolton.
Tyrion is witty and funny, but he focuses on raping people way too much. He dwells on his won problems more that the fact that his action are hurting others way more.
Damphair is boring and an asshole. He only supported Balon and Victarion because they are basically the say person. His focus on the Drowned God is also weird and he creeps me out (Patchface is my number 4 because he scares me)
Ramsay is a sociopath and he is probably the worst person in the book ever. He would more than likely be #1if he was a POV. I don’t think he ever had a redeeming quality and never has to pay for his actions.
4.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far? Why?
Probably when Gendry finds out Arya’s real identity. It focuses a lot on how they were still so young and it was just cute and humanizing.
5. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end, and why?
Gendry gets legitimized; he and Arya marry end up on the Iron Throne. The 7 kingdoms disband; Sansa ends up Queen of the North with Bran as her hand. Jon stays on the wall, Dany goes to the house with the red door. Asha on the Seastone chair, Theon goes to the wall. Martells stay at Dorne, Casterly Rock goes to some Lannister of Lannisport. Tommen and Myrcella end up on the wall and as a Silent Sister. Edric and Shireen are safe. Aegon dies.

Date: 2012-03-09 09:18 am (UTC)Your wishes are very out there, and there's a crazy sense of humor here that works really well for Greyjoy. Listing pleasure first and family last is a very Baratheon/Greyjoy thing to do. Your quote... very Baratheon again, but also fits Asha's mentality, I think. #6 -- again, Baratheon (Robert)/Greyjoy. Your contrary spirit has an Iron Island feel as well. And then your favorite character is Asha. The choice is clear.
