All About You

1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!.

Give me an roof over my head, a decent Internet connection, someone to snuggle and I'm good to go.

As for the actual detail-details, I've always liked the thought of a relatively large home - two floors with a big room for justbooks and plushy chairs to read them in (lighting too, don't want to ruin any eyes after all). It would also need to have a gaming room (preferably sound proof... don't wanna disturb anyone in the house) and a super sexy kitchen (by sexy I mean enough room to cook a Christmas feast for 12+ in easily m'kay?). Also need a computer room (not to be mistaken for a gaming room) for hard drives and a secure personal network with sleek, sexy servers (room would also need a cooling system so the machines don't overheat). A family room/home theater area... would be nice too!

I'd like a lot of property too, in the country but close enough to the city that when I feel like being sociable I can be. Maybe something for horses (and goats... I really like goats).

Oh! And trees! Lots of trees... fruit bearing trees (apples, cherries, plums) and regular trees (nobles, oaks, pines... etc.).

2. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Please be as elaborate as you can. Wishing for more wishes is not permitted!

From my experience nothing tends to come without a price, but we'll lay that aside for once, aye?

First Wish: For my mother to be healthy again and not in constant pain.

Second Wish: To have enough money to do what I want in life and not have to worry - like travel, explore, take fencing lessons and write.

Third Wish: A looking-glass, it would be cool to see what was happening in another reality... and then write about it.

3. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? Why? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;)

I am proud of the fact that I have been able to save my friend's lives on occasion - granted it mostly stems from my natural "please, tell me all your issues and I'll help you!" oozy aura but it isn't often you get to say that you've saved a life. Even less often do you get to say you saved more than one life.

4. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you? Please explain why for each choice.

Love, Friendship and Knowledge are by far the most important to me.

Love: I am of the firm belief that without love in your life you are honestly just living from day-to-day and not to the fullest. When you have someone, anyone, that you care for and would lay your life down for - someone you love, then you can live your life completely.

Friendship: This is incredibly important to me because your friends can be closer and far more loyal to you than family. It has been my experience that a family member can stab you in the back just as easily as an enemy.

Knowledge: Knowledge is important to me because of that age-old saying "with knowledge comes power."

As for the least important... money - so long as I've enough to get by and those I care about are provided for I'm fine.

5. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values? Explain.

"A man of courage is also full of faith." - Cicero

I have faith in just about everything - people, places, humanity. The moment you don't have faith in something is the moment you don't have the courage to stand up and fight.

6. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you? Go into as much detail as you can.

What is this money you speak of? Joking... I'm horrid at money management but I get by, mostly by the skin of my teeth since I have to spend under 1,600$ a month on everything from rent and bills to gas and food. I really, really suck at handling money... like really suck... if I have money I'll spend it (granted after the essentials are paid for).

7. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office?
Writing: I really, really like to write - it gives me a sense of control, like I can write what I cannot comfortably say or actually manage to explain what I cannot verbalize. I prefer writing fiction, usually revolving around fantasy with a bit of history thrown in (because that gives you the chance to learn and oogle!).

Security: When it comes to technology I love learning about new things, especially security. Knowing how to keep information secure is a serious buzz, there's flailing involved and nerdy squeaks when I find out how to do something I've never done before revolving around that particular subject.

Snuggling: Yeah... it's a hobby, a pass time even - you have to nurture the things you're good at right?

8. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain.

Fear 1: Being unable to function mentally, my family has a history of mental disorders and I'm scared to death of getting a bunch all in one shot like my grandmother. I would rather have a hand chopped off than face being mentally unstable.

Fear 2: Disappointing someone, I have a huge fear of being the cause of disappointment. The thought of it brings about near panic attacks and over emotional wibbling.

Fear 3: Spiders... I freak out if I see a spider, I freak out if I know it's in the room and get extremely paranoid. They're spiders... I can't explain it (maybe that's why they say it's an irrational fear).

9. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical). Please answer as fully as you can, as this is an important question.

Best
Loyalty: I am loyal the people I care about, no matter what and I will defend them to the best of my ability - especially if someone's honor has come into question. I'm not afraid to break a fist on someone's face if it comes down to it.

My need to make smiles happen: I like smiling and I love making people smile, making people smile is insanely awesome. I get a sense of pride knowing that I was able to make someone smile in the middle of having a bad day.

Selflessness: I put the needs of others before my own needs, it's a thing. Taking care of people is what I do - it gives me joy and makes me happy inside.

Worst
A Serious Lack of Creeper-Radar: I trust too easily and give everyone the benefit of the doubt, this leads to bad situations, I never know the person has bad juju until the worst possible moment.

Impractical: I am highly impractical which I blame on my overactive imagination. I don't care if it cannot be done, it's still cool to ream about it.

Vague: When it comes to real-life I am incredibly vague and unable to verbalize things immediately, let alone properly. Sometimes I explain things improperly and insult people unintentionally due to said vagueness. Usually there's hand motions involved if I can't find the right words.

A Song of Ice and Fire Related

1.How many books from the series have you completed?
4/5

2.Who are your favorite three characters in the series? Why?
Tyrion Lannister: Through all of the crap in his life (an unloving father, a shitty older sister, constantly being mocked in some way, shape or form, etc.) he has been able to nourish his intellect as well as polish his snark to perfection. I love that, while he can on occasion be cruel towards his enemies, he can also be sympathetic to those who are mistreated and not of the norm.
Sansa Stark: Sansa manages to stay strong even after witnessing the death of her father at the hand of her psychotic betrothed. She is continuously growing and I can relate to her, especially with her lack of creeper/appropriate person to trust-radar.
Ned Stark: He is honorable and probably the most relatable character to me in the series in an "I share his values" kind of way.

3.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series? Why?
Tywin Lannister: He's a crappy father and his only redeeming quality was his ability to recover his family's honor.
Joffrey Baratheon: He's a sadistic, psychotic, spoiled brat who needed a good throttling and anger management courses.
Lord Walder Frey: Um... does anything need be said about this man? If it is possible for a person to be the definition of "squick" he is it.

4.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far? Why?
When Sansa is preparing to push Joffrey off of the rampart and go right with him... so many feelings attached to this part. I love that she was ready and willing to do it and little part of me wants to believe that Sandor Clegane stepped in and interrupted her "gung ho" set of mind not for Joff but for her.

5. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end, and why?
For everyone to have a grand-ole-time and it all to end happily ever after with flowing ale and f-preg babies while Bran gets it on with his inner tree and Jon has a discussion with Renly about fashion.

Seriously though, in my dream-world:

The women would have a chance at ruling the 7 Kingdoms (separately, cos that would be badass) and all of the assholes to go away.

Oh... and Sansa to finally find someone appropriate and not a creeper while Tyrion gets the girl (and Jon isn't so emo).
