It's unfortunate I didn't get a good handle on you to make this easier. Initial thoughts lean toward Tyrell, maybe some Martell, but the reading, well, we'll see. Also, if I didn't mention this place as well when you started reading, I'm surprised. But then you're clever and probably don't give away points to houses you're unlikely to end up in. ;)
I could suggest Targ for loss of control and wanting recognition. The ambitious houses also get reflected through your publishing house coup, and I'd say eccentric and introverted could lean to Targ. If judging by your Most Welcoming Slytherin tags, you'll be an asset to the Targaryens. Or Tyrells, but they probably have more of that type already. ;P The first two negative traits don't discount house Martell for you either, but I need to go with something instead of merely prevaricating. Even if I agree that there is a hint of Tully security in you as well. Targaryen.
My condolences on contact with students, but at least you got the reality of it before you committed to anything. I imagine some people must be suited to it, but I don't recommend groups of pupils or students to people in general.
