All About You
1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!.
The location of my house would be very important. It would be somewhere near the coast. I live in a city near the sea, and the climate is awesome (plus i do love to go to the beach from time to time ). My ideal house would be a medium-sized villa, with a lot of windows and it would have a huge garden with lots of of fountains and trees. It would have a lot of rooms: must have at least two bathroom, four bedrooms and a room where we can stay all together, watch tv and just talk. The kitchen should be well-equipped and spacious but simple.
My ideal bedroom would have bright colored walls, elegant furniture, It would have a Tv and a large bed. I would like to have a bedroom with shelves full of books and a writing table with a colorful lamp upon it. It would be the perfect place to relax. Something like this (http://www.funkyfurnitureandstuff.com/Orange_Bedroom_Set.jpg), because it's orange! The living room would be comfortable, warm, big and it would have a fireplace. It would be nice for long winter evenings. ( I suffer the cold very much ! )
2. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain.
Failure : I have high expectations and others have high expectations for me, i think is a good thing but sometimes high expectations leads to dissapointment.I know lots of people say that failure is a springboard to success, but i don't completely agree, sometimes it's true but when i fail at something ( something i really do care about), i feel worse about myself as a person.
2. Bugs : I can't stand bugs, They freak me out!! I think bugs are creep, and when I see a bug I literally run out screaming. I hate spiders, I have arachnophobia (fear of spiders) to a high degree. When I see a spider, I freeze up and I call for my mother to come kill it.
3. Death: I'm not scared of dying, but I think cannot handle another death of someone I care about. My Uncle died last year and it was one of the worst moments in my life. Even though we didn't see each other often (probably once in a year), we were close and I really loved him. He was my mother's older brother and he was the only uncle I knew. I really wish he was was still here, I still miss him so much a year after his death, he was so gentle and kind and he was too young to leave us.

3. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Please be as elaborate as you can. Wishing for more wishes is not permitted!
If there appeared a genie granting me three wishes, one would be to win one million dollars,i'm not materialistic but I know money are important.
I would buy myself a beautiful house and a car and then save the rest. I think I would be more independent and secure, plus I wouldn't have to rely on my parents so much.My second wish would probably be good health for my family, my friend and the ones i care about, because health is the most important thing. The last one would be to give me the power to control time, because it would be awesome and very useful.I would love to go back to the past and fix all of my mistakes. I would like to see the future, even if only momentarily, to see who i will become.

4. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? Why? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;)
I think I've become more independent and understanding but also more impulsive, i don't think there's only one accomplishment i'm proud of, and i can't really choose one. My choices made me who I am now and i'm thankful for that (Honestly, I do regret some things but I think I'd change nothing)

5. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you? Please explain why for each choice.

I would like to say both family and knowledge, because i think they're both very important to me. If i really have to choose only one, i pick Family. I think family is the most important part of one's life, without them everything would be a lot harder. I can't imagine my life without my family, they mean a lot to me and they are always there with open arms no matter what.
Pleasure is probably the least important to me.

6. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values? Explain.

As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do.

I don't have a favorite quote, but i like this one beacuse i think that effectively describes me . I like this quote because it's true, i think words are important, but action is vital

and i like this song ( and lyrics ) a lot

Stand my ground, I won't give in
No more denying, I gotta face it
Won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside
If I don't make it, someone else will
Stand My Ground
It's all around
getting stronger, coming closer
into my world
I can feel
that it's time for me to face it
can I take it?
Though this might just be the ending
of the life I held so dear
but I won't run, there's no turning back from here

Stand my Groud by Within Temptation

7. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you? Go into as much detail as you can.

i think I manage money well and I always have, lately I've been saving more than I spend. i know money are important and in order to live you have to have money, but i know they can't make you happy. Financial security is very important to me, because it allows me to pursue the things I enjoy,to fulfill some of my ambitions and not to worry about the future.

8. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office?

1. Reading:I love reading, books in general and bookstores, and spend a significant fraction of my time in them. i have a lot of books in my shelves and i do enjoy reading them,a and i have a lot of books that I feel I should read!
Now i'm reading "The Paul Street Boys" ( a youth novel by the writer Ferenc Molná ). I've read this book when i was 12 or 13 years old, and i loved it.I still re-read this book from time to time, becase i think is one of the most beautiful book i've ever read. It's a book about friendship, loyalty and death ( but it's not depressing !)
2. Hanging out with my friends: I love to hang out with my friends, I always have a good time with them and i love them very much, they are part of my family and are very important to me. I don't have a lot of friends ( the ones I do are wonderful!) but I'm fine with a few and i think I don't need a lot of friends as long as i have someone to count on ( and i know i can count on my friends for anything ).
3. Music: i love music and i listen to almost everything, i really don't have a favorite genre.I've played the c flute for years when i was younger. I learned to play the c flute when i was 11, I had two lessons a week for about 3-4 years. I think it was very interesting! I would like to learn to play the clarinet soon.
4. Playing videogames: I play videogames since I was 8 years old, and i really love them.I like playing video games with my twin sister, I always have a good time with her and i think (i hope )she does too!
5. Playing tennis. I love sports and outdoor activities, my favorite sport is tennis.I started playing tennis when I was 14 years old, and I still love playing tennis with my friends, though I don't play it so often.

9. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical). Please answer as fully as you can, as this is an important question.

1. Honest: I always say what I think when I think it. I will tell you directly when I disagree with you, i can't really understand why people talk behind others back instead of saying it in their faces
2.Fair: I'm fair with everyone,no matter who they are, and i believe in giving people a fair chance before judging them, also I like to be treated the way I treat people
3. Loyal: I'm a very loyal person and I would never betray my friends/my family.
4. Passionate: I am passionate and I am intense, I put a lot of energy into the issues I believe in!
5. Curious : I'm curious, and I always get up and investigate. I love to see new things, learn something new and i actually seek out new challenges everyday. I think that without challenges life would be boring

1. Brutally honest: I always say what I think when I think it, sometimes i can be brutally honest.I'm sharp tongued and I say what I have to say
2. Lazy: i am lazy, lazy, lazy and I procrastinate all the time. I think I spend more time procastinating that doing the actual work most of the time.
3. Impulsive: Extremely impulsive as i am i always act and then think. I really rush into things without thinking and get into trouble for it
4. Stubborn: Sometimes I can be sooo stubborn! Probably because I don't like being open to the possibility that I could be wrong and I'm not very good at changing my mind. Honestly, I hardly change my mind about something
5. Pessimistic: I try to be optimistic, but I'm generally a more pessimistic person. I always see the worst side of things.. the glass is half empty for me.

A Song of Ice and Fire Related

1.Who are your favorite three characters in the series? Why?
1. Benjen Stark. I love his attitude, personality and everything about him, i know Benjen's character has very few lines in the series but i still like him for some reason.Plus, the Nights Watch are really cool!
2. Jaime Lannister. I hated Jaime at first but his characters growth made me change my mind. He he has done some questionable things, but now is one of my favorite characters.
3. Bran Stark. He has to go though so many difficult things during the story, and he's grown a lot. i like this character from the start, and i still like him a lot. I think Bran reminds me of someone I know, that's probably why i like him so much. I like the fact that he's so innocent at the beginning, but he grows a lot in the books!
I also like Tyrion Lannister very much, because he's intelligent, compassionate, funny and kind. My favorite POV's are definately Jaime and Tyrion.

2.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series? Why?
Catelyn Stark : I don't like her attitude towards almost everyone, especially Jon ( i don't like Jon very much, but Catelyn behaviour towards Jon makes me uncomfortable ). As for the other two characters uhm.. I don't like Arya. Is not that i hate Her, because there's something about her i quite like, but in the end i think she's one of the three least interesting characters to me. I don't like Joffery at all, he's cruel, evil and selfish.

3.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far? Why? i don't think i have a favorite moment, but i loved all the moments in which there were benjen and eddard. I liked Bran's awakening and Bran meeting the crow in his coma, probably because i think Bran is one of the most interesting characters in the books, and I liked the red wedding. I think it was well written and very intriguing.

4. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end, and why? Uhm..all the remaining Starks survive and Tyrion Lannister becomes lord of Casterly Rock.I really would like to see something unexpected happen!

No vote. I can't sort you with these answers, the last one especially.

No Vote - it just wouldn't be fair on you or your future house to sort you based on what would essentially be guess work. Just a little elaboration could have made such a difference :O(

Lannister

I imagine there's a language barrier here in part, but even taking that into account, there wasn't enough here, particularly not in the ASOIAF section. So an admittedly not very apologetic No vote.

Targaryen

I'm seeing Tyrell mostly for the money and family answer as well as the location. But I think that a bit more elaboration could be helpful.

I don't like giving a no vote, but there really isn't enough here for me to get a sense. :\ Even just a little elaboration would be very helpful. No Vote for the moment, though I'm willing to change it the moment there's more detail.

You value knowledge and family, and are curious and stubborn? I'm getting a Tyrell vibe throughout this ap.

YaY more info! Now I can sort you properly!

I'm going to agree with everyone who said Lannister. You app kinda vibes of that and Tyrell, but I leaned towards the lions for some reason I can't explain.

I'm actually leaning more towards Lannister here

Sure, the application was brief, but I got an incredibly strong Greyjoy impression. In specific you remind me of Theon or, more optimistically, Asha. Impulsive, more interested in actions than words (that's certainly not a Lannister trait--Lannisters are all about words). Brutal honesty is also very Greyjoy. Theon is also, like you, quite stubborn and easily thrown into pessimism.

I'm actually a Theon fan. :)

I agree this app could've been longer, but I got enough to see Greyjoy.

Hmm, with the additions to the application, I have to say I am seeing more Martell. Crossing over to that side :)

I'm very sorry, but I'm going with no vote too.

Also, I'm not sure if it's fair to include it, but taking a bit more care with your typing and grammar would help make your application easier to read. Things like using capital letters in the right places ("i don't know <.<") and ending your sentences with some form of punctuation.

Very interesting to see this combination of Tyrell, Greyjoy, Targaryen and Stark in someone. There may be a language barrier making this hard, because I didn't think your answers were *too* short, I just didn't get a huge vibe.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Stark

Targaryen

Date: 2009-10-28 02:45 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] supernonamegirl.livejournal.com
I'm going to guess that the sparseness of your answers is because English isn't your first language, and I don't think it's fair to hold that against you. And considering that, I actually think you did a really good job.
That said, there isn't a lot to go on, but based on your favorite characters, traits, and the reasons you include, I'm thinking Stark

Tully

No one said Martell? Well, I am going with them because your quote reminded me of Doran. Waiting and learning by what those were doing around him and then making a move. Martells are loyal to their family and friends we saw impulsive streaks in both Arienne and the Sand Snakes. I think you would fit well in Tyrell as well...but yeah I like Martell best for you :)

Did you edit in more and not poke people about it in comments or otherwise let us know this had changed? Because compared to some other applications, this isn't shorter than the rest and might have ample. I haven't read it in detail yet, just going by looks. I'll come back and vote but I'd like to know if you did edit so I won't waste my vote just yet.

Yep, reposting. Looking through your app again, I actually see... a lot of Martell. Impulsive, independent, passionate. Also, as [livejournal.com profile] loveweasleys04 pointed out, knowledge and patience are also traits of Martell. Yep, I'm confident in my vote. :D

Your best/worst qualities strike me as Martell like whoa. I do see some Tyrell here too, but more of Loras than a general House feel. I think that being action-oriented (re: your quote) is pretty Martell-ish as well. :)

From: [identity profile] ladynyks.livejournal.com
Could say there's some Targ and other houses in the high expectations in 2, maybe even the future thing and going for something like that in 3. Impulsive goes for that and Martell, perhaps Greyjoy as well. The importance of family plays some part, but won't say what yet from that alone.

Standing your ground perhaps leans more the Martell way, or Tully to me? 7 adds to both those. 9 supports some of that with honesty and fairness, but the passion side brings in the Targ + Martell more so. The negatives of it make it more Martell to me. Actually, reading other people's votes I see where the Lannister comes from, too, high expectations working for that as well, but since I strangely see tiny hints of Stark somewhere as well, I'm going to stop before I see everything in you. Impulsive makes me discount Lannister despite certain characters exhibiting that to the max.

*cheers for a possible triple whammy of people for house Martell to get this week?*

You're very difficult for me to sort. At first I had a Lannister/Tyrell vibe, but by the end I had a very Stark/Tully vibe. I think, though, I'll go with Tully. Wanting money but not materialistic, holding family important, the first quote you gave, positive traits and negative traits like WHOA. Despite your listing Catelyn as your least favorite character, I think you share a lot in common with her, personality-wise. I think Catelyn even realizes that she tells people the truth they don't want to hear -- goes very well with your honesty/brutal honesty. We know Tullys are stubborn, and I also think they're very fair and loyal (although Starks are as well).

The only thing that doesn't fit is that I don't think Tullys are impulsive, and that seems to be a large part of your character. But I do think you're mostly Tully, with a fair amount of Stark.
