I'm intrigued, though. I find myself hard-pressed to understand Dany as a character a lot of the time, largely because she doesn't seem to have that many fears, once she got past her initial timidity about... everything. Now that you've pointed it out, though, I guess I can see fear of failure there a bit... she's the last of her line, the Dragon, etc. Interesting! It's cool to get more of a perspective on House Targaryen from you guys. I'm getting all these votes and now feel a bit ashamed that I didn't pay more attention to Targaryen traits and values in the books.
