All About You

First of all, EXCUSE MY ENGLISH. Feel free to correct me!

1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!.
My dream home is a big house, but not a mansion. It has big rooms but not a lot of rooms (quality over quantity), and of course the biggest library you can imagine, one with a fireplace, velvet armchairs and a ladder to get to all the books. Also, it's very bright, with natural light from the huge windows and balconies. Victorian style and big gardens.
I'd set it near to a big city, but not inside it, maybe in a hill or something very green but not wild. Also, it has to be a place more cool than warm (Spain is way too hot), but not too cool either (I'm thinking of UK).

2. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain.
1) Being alone: I'm aware I tend to push people away and I still don't know why.
2) Ignorance and stupidness: I hate when people just do or say or think one way because they are told to. I like to think everything I do.
3) Being forgotten: That's very narcissistic, I know, but it's true. I'd like to do something to help to improve the world (it needs a lot of improvements)... And well, be remembered for it.

3. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Please be as elaborate as you can. Wishing for more wishes is not permitted!
1) Stop the wars all over the world (it would be related to some other wishes about distributing the power, money and food, but I'll just take that for granted).
2) Succees in the entretaining world (writing, playing some instrument or making movies/series).
3) A modern Mr. Darcy only for me.

4. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? Why? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;)
None. I find it normal to be good at everything, but I am not GREAT at anything, so... (I could be proud of my negativity, that's right). I still have so much to do!

5. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you? Please explain why for each choice.
I'll say Family, Knowledge and Love (I can't chose one). Family because I know my parents and sibilings are always there for me and I'll do anything for them. Knowledge because I love to learn and to read. Love because, well, I'm very romantic (in a Sansa way).
The least important is Money. I love having money and spending it, but I know I can be happy without it. Plus, the world would be a better place without it!

6. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values? Explain.
A quote by Daria (from "Daria, indeed) that says "I'm too smart and too sensitive for a world like this in a time like now".
Also, I love a quote from Elizabeth Bennet from "Pride and Prejudice" book, it says: "There are few people whom I really love, and still fewer whom I think well. The more I see the world, the more am I dissatisfied with it."

7. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you? Go into as much detail as you can.
I start spending my money from the moment I own it (usually in clothes, books or travelling).
Anyway, I know that when I'll start making money in something I like and I'll have my own house, I will finance it just well. I spend it like this now because I have all my needs covered, but I'm not stupid.
Also, if I were rich (or at least more than now), I will give a lot of money to the NGOs.

8. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office?
- Reading all kind of books (from Jane Austen to George R.R. Martin, Meg Cabot or Lord Byron).
- Watching tv series, also all kind: humor, sci-fi, romance, adventures...
- Talking, of course, to my friends and family.
- Writing, but I never end anything.
- Going to the cinema.
- Shopping.
- Music.

9. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical). Please answer as fully as you can, as this is an important question.
BEST:
- Honesty: I have never pretended to be or think something I don't. It doesn't mean I have a big mouth, it means I normally don't speak if it's not necessary. I'm sincere but diplomatic.
- Intelligence: I'm not saying I have a brilliant mind, but I'm smart.
- Creativity: I don't know what to do with it, but I have it.

WORST:
- Pessimism: Only when it comes to me and my possibilites... But yes.
- Impatientience: I'm not good waiting at nothing, and I'm very obsessive. So I take it all personally, and I get angry/frustrated a lot.
- Laziness: I want to do things but it is much more easy just to watch an episode from "The Office". Then I regret it, but the next time I know I'll do just the same (it would be nothing).

A Song of Ice and Fire Related

1.Who are your favorite three characters in the series? Why?
- Robb Stark: Because he's the perfect hero without even trying! He has all the admirable qualities of the Stark, but he is also a lot more extrovert than his father. Also, he has never lost a battle! (I'm aware of the present tense).
- Sandor Clegane: The anti-heroe. He is mad, but he follows his own rules, and when somebody forces him to do something he don't like (or that he can't stand) he leaves. He has no expectations about anything, he just take it as it is. And I don't think he's a bad person, I just think he looks for his own interests and no one elses. He would kill anybody to help himself, but he won't kill for fun... (ok, Mycah... my theory doesn't work... ehem...). Well, he's hot, and that's all.
- Tyrion Lannister. He's the most intelligent POV character from the books, and he is also funny. Tyrion is a Lannister but he is nothing like his family, he is a good person! He is against individuals, not houses!
And I also love Sansa, Jon, Ned... and Renly and Jaime (I had to say it).

2.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series? Why?
- Theon Greyjoy: He is stupid and he does everything he does only to impress people. First Robb, then his father, Oggh! I hate him. And ok, he didn't kill Bran or Rickon, but HE KILLED TWO INNOCENT KIDS.
- Gregor Clegane: I know everybody hates him, but I'm sure I hate him more.
- Walder Frey: HELLO? I NEED TO SAY IT? ROBB? HELLO?
Joffrey would be the next one.

3.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far? Why?
I don't have the slightest idea... Let me think. When Robb starts winning battles and he's declared King in the North. The Battle of the Blackwater and the fact that the Lannisters win (I've always been against them, but seing the battle from Tyrion's eyes made me change my mind). The battle on Castle Black, and when Jon Snow is declared Lord Commander. And I must admit I also love all the moments the Hound and Sansa share.

4. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end, and why?
I don't have such a thing, because I know George R. R. Martin is not going to be so kind to make it true... Anyway, I hope he won't kill more Starks, that's my first wish. I also think (not wish or unwish) Daenerys will be the queen of the Seven Kingdoms... And the aunt of Jon, probably.
What I'm sure is that in my dream-world everybody would get what they deserve...

I don't look that stupid writing in spanish, don't judge me for my grammar/vocabulary in english, thank you.

Targaryen

I was really, really thinking Tyrell, due to your emphasis on family and the quote seems like something the old grandma would say, but reading the comments that highlighted your wishes and fears, they have good points for Targaryen. What helped me decide though, was the Love and knowledge questions. Those seem like very Targaryen answers and reasons. Dany seems to want a family that is there for her more than anything, particularly when she's younger but it still lingers. Aemon, of course, values knowledge, and Rhaegar did a lot for love.

Lannister

First of all, could we cut it with the incessant "Ooh, I like this house, I want to be in there! / I don't see myself as House X" comments inside [livejournal.com profile] westerosorting again, please? It's extremely annoying to see as the first thing when you come around to vote and does influence my desire to put someone somewhere. It doesn't help the applicant's case.

I see the Targaryen in the fears and wishes, but there is some Tyrell + Tully and whatnot more so in the family emphasis. The quotes from 6 I could even put in Lannister, plus the honesty, but there are other houses more so. Diplomatic + lazy I see more in the Tyrell camp than Targ or anything else suggested so far. Less Lannister bashing from people in general, too, please, even if you do later say your point of view changed in the battle scene. You hating Gregor more does suggest a Martell, same as the lazy and to a degree honest if you want to look at the earlier bits. The anger and hate combined could suggest more Targ than Tyrell for the end result.

However, since I'm my usual special me, I'm going with No vote because I hate being told where people want to be or where they don't see themselves in comments. Pushing is annoying and was to be cut already before.

A combination of diplomacy, honesty, creativity, and sociable traits. You would make a fine Tyrell. Also, your quotes reminded me of the Queen of Thornes XD

No vote. Sorry, but after reading an app I do skim the comments to see how everyone else is voting (and to see if anyone picks up on something that I might have missed which might cause me to rethink), but seeing a lot of comments from the original poster about how they want to be in one House makes me want to sort them anywhere -else- because of my contrary nature. Since I can't be unbiased, I'm not going to vote.

I didn't say you were impolite or mean. I said I didn't feel like I could give an answer that wasn't biased. I don't do myself -or- you any good if I can't give an honest vote, and it's better to let others make the decisions in that case, see?

Stark

From: [identity profile] claireobscure.livejournal.com
I see the Stark votes and the Tyrell votes, but I ulitmately see Targaryen more than anything else (I especially think of impatience as a Targaryen trait, and the not wanting to be forgotten).

Tully

From: [identity profile] sheiannasherra.livejournal.com
I actually had to step away for awhile to think about this. My original vibe was Tyrell but you have made so many comments that seem to imply that you don't see yourself as Tyrell that I'm reluctant to sort you there. In fact, I am very pleased to see that [livejournal.com profile] ladynyks and [livejournal.com profile] ebonhost have already voiced what I have been feeling. As much as I hate to do so, I am going to give you a No Vote and suggest that, if there is no rule in place to say that those being sorted should not comment during the sorting process, one be added. (just my opinion... )

Yes, there is a rule against arguing with votes/pushing - it's mentioned several times in the userinfo (http://community.livejournal.com/westerosorting/profile).

Though in the next couple of months we hope to have a FAQ that will help answer questions like that more quickly. :)

My top three choices were Stark, Tyrell, and Targaryen, so I'm glad that matches the other votes. In the end, I'll sort you as a very idealistic Targaryen.

Your English is excellent--a million miles ahead of my Spanish!

I have a very Tully feeling--something about the house (which I know seems Stark to others), the diplomacy, the not wanting to be alone.

Tyrell

From: [identity profile] rose-petals.livejournal.com
Hmm. This was a bit difficult. I can see where the no voters are coming from. I believe there is a rule now in the [livejournal.com profile] westerosorting user info that says that arguing with votes is not allowed, since we have had problems with that in the past.

Then again, you don't seem to have been arguing so much as curious as to people's reasoning. And you have been perfectly nice about it. But I do feel a bit uncomfortable sorting someone into my house when they've expressed that they might prefer to be elsewhere, and I wonder if that is affecting my judgment somewhat.

Still, I wasn't even thinking of giving you a Tyrell vote until I saw [livejournal.com profile] guad's and [livejournal.com profile] ohcarousel's reasoning, so I'm going to go with my initial impression of Targaryen. Your boldness, wishes, and fears seem more dragon-y to me than anything else.

Though if you do end up a rose, we will welcome you to Highgarden gladly. :)

I think you're a Stark. Your best & worst traits especially led me in this direction. Pessimism combined with honestly sounds like the wolves to me. Your trait of impatience works too, given Starks like Arya. Your desire of everyone to get what they deserve indicates a desire for justice.

Also, you win for the Daria quote.

Tully

From: [identity profile] sophia-helix.livejournal.com
My feelings changed a lot as I read on -- the initial home description sounded very Tully-like to me, wanting to be where it's green but not too wild, but as I read on I felt that your desire to stand out and do something puts you out of the quiet fishpond, as it were. I went back and forth between Targaryen and Stark, but in the end felt that the qualities you described in yourself, especially being a bit stand-offish, plus all the helping people stuff, marked you as a Stark.

Congratulations! After receiving one vote for Martell, one vote for Tully, three "no votes", six votes for Stark, and thirteen votes for Targaryen, you have officially been sorted into House Tyrell with fourteen votes!
