You're a bit of a tough one for me. You remind me of a (more level-headed) mix of Targaryen and Lannister. You remind me quite a bit of Dany when she's being rational too. I even see hints of Martell sometimes, but there's something about your wording that makes me decide against it. Maybe it's far too cool, even for an odd Martell?
Your ideal home makes it seem that you appreciate nobility, only more in what it can represent and the abundance of knowledge and intrigue it can bring rather than all-out materialism. This was emphasised later when you said money was the least important to you. Now I can't say that Lannisters don't enjoy nobility for what it represents, but they seem to lean more towards the vain/materialistic side.
The mention of your eyes as your favourite physical attribute is another reminder of Targaryen, but probably because they immediately come to mind when I think of uncommonly beautiful eyes. The lyrics you posted also reminds me of them, though I can't really place why.
Now I realise I've already mentioned a couple of things that remind me of Targaryen, but haven't even started with Lannister yet. Your attention to detail with, "I was one of the people who sat and nit-picked every episode of The X-Files looking for errors (and there were many)," makes me think of the Lannisters, as are the times when you express yourself with a hint of cynicism. Your temper combined with stubbornness reminds me more of the lions rather than the dragons as the two seem more of a packaged deal with the former rather than the later. This was one of the things that reminded me of Martell too, but your tone still deters me from keeping it in mind too much.
All in all, I suppose vote House Targaryen. And the more I think of it, the more second place is tied with Martell and Lannister with bits and pieces from both houses.
Stark.
