All About You

1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description!.

Ideal home? A large house, two or three stories. I prefer stonework, but brick is passable. A view of some sorts would be nice, one that overlooks a lake. The main thing I really want in this house is space, so I could spread out and just be alone. I would prefer a large quantity of land that has a forest. However I wouldn't want to be too isolated. I'd like to have some sort of civilization close at hand. Geographically speaking, I prefer mountainous areas with forests, streams, and as I said above, possibly a lake.

2. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain.

Loosing the people I care for. This fear often seems unfounded, but it is my greatest fear all the same. I don't really have any many friends, so the ones that I do have I love deeply. My friends are always there for me, so even thinking about loosing them upsets me.

Spiders. Typical fear, right? I just hate the way the things move. Also, seeing Arachnophobia when your ten kinda warps you for life.

Failing. Maybe it's because I'm really competitive or because of some other reason, but I've always been scared of failing. Often times, when I do fail, it's upsetting because I know the failure is my fault and that I didn't try hard enough.

3. Imagine you’re given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Please be as elaborate as you can. Wishing for more wishes is not permitted!

1. The ability to change my appearance. Sometimes it's a little difficult just being...yourself all the time and you just need a change. I'm oftentimes labeled as one of the weird kids and though I don't care what they think, sometimes not being stared at is nice. Also, robbery becomes very easy.

2. To have some sort of musical talent. Music is the thing I love best, but ironically enough, I've got no talent for it.

3. I'd wish for good health, for me and everyone I love. Self-explanatory, right? Not immortality, mind you. That would be no fun at all.

4. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? Why? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. ;)

I guess that, at this point in my life, what I'm most proud of is how much I've matured. I've always been pretty smart, but when I hit eighth grade I went through the typical rebellious stage. This was a huge change for me because before I'd always been incredibly shy and subservient. So through eighth and ninth grade, I didn't do my schoolwork, I skipped class, and was in general an obnoxious little emo kid (I am ashamed). However, this phase ended when ninth grade was over. I still don't know what made me see the light of day (maybe the fact that I almost failed and my GPA was a 1.2). So I turned from my wicked ways, got a job, studied, and became un-annoying (though my shyness didn't come back, thank god). I just graduated with a final GPA of 3.9 and I have common sense abounding.

5. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you? Please explain why for each choice.

The most important is friendship. I'm not very close with my parents and I would like to see my brother get hit by a train (not joking). My friends have always been there for me and are more like my family then my family is. They understand and listen to me.

I find the least important thing on that list is love. While it isn't necessarily unwanted, I find it to be unneeded (at least in the romantic sense). I 'm a perfectly capable person on my own, and I don't need a relationship to define who I am in any way.

6. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values? Explain.

"Though the world may tear me apart and make me collapse, I will swallow the tears and stand up." - Epik High

Independence and inner strength are really important to me. I was abused and I vowed to never let anything like that happen again. And even though I have friends, I know that we may not always be together, so I have to be able to stand up for and protect myself. You have to keep moving forward.

7. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you? Go into as much detail as you can.

I manage my money pretty well. I don't often spend it on things I don't need, especially after getting accepted into a college. However, money/financial security is very important to me. Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy peace of mind through such things as insurance and a home.

8. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office?

Are LJ and Youtube hobbies? Just kidding! Um...I draw, read, play clarinet (though I'm not any good at it), photo-manipulation art, trying to find new music. Gosh, I'm finding it hard to elaborate on these...

9. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical). Please answer as fully as you can, as this is an important question.

WORST:

1. I'm quick to judge. I don't know how to elaborate on this. Um...when I first meet people, I file them under the "stupid" category. Only through proving their intelligence can they win my respect. I often assume people are all the same because of who they hang out with or how they dress, which makes it hard for me to make friends (though I usually don't want to make friends).

2. I don't always listen to others opinions, especially if they say they dislike something I am fond of. This is especially true when I'm meeting someone for the first time. If they say something I don't like, I will usually cut off all communication right there.

3. I have a horrendous temper. It doesn't take much at all to get me riled up. Like, standing in my way or eating in an obnoxious manner. I don't get as mad as I used to, but I'm still very easy to piss off.

BEST:

1. Loyalty. No one messes with me friends. No one. I don't care who you are.

2. Humor. I make me friends laugh, which is something we all enjoy doing. Though, the only people who can keep up with me in my banter are my friends Zach and Deanna.

3. Being genuine. If I don't like something or someone, I'm not gonna lie and I say that I do. I don't pretend.

A Song of Ice and Fire Related

1.Who are your favorite three characters in the series? Why?

1. Dany. She reminds me of me. At first, she's shy and does everything her brother says. And then she comes into her own, learns how to take care of herself, and starts kicking butt.

2. Tyrion. I guess I like him because he's the misfit. His name is Lannister, but that's not who is his. He's the black sheep, but in a good way.

3. Jon. Does anyone dislike Jon? He proves that what people say about bastards is a complete and utter lie. He's smart, courageous, loyal, and honorable. I'm also really fond of Ghost.

2.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series? Why?

1. Joffery. He's rude, immature, and a jackass. Need I say more?

2. Gregor Clegane. He's like a medieval serial killer. Even though I sound like Sansa, it's his job to protect the people of the realm, not kill them. I believe strongly in honor.

3. Petyr Baelish. I still haven't pinpointed why I dislike him (besides being a creeper). I guess it's because I just don't trust him (I'm just finished SoS).

3.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far? Why?

Right after Drogo dies and Dany walks into the fire and comes back out completely untouched with the three dragons. Dany is my favorite character, and for me, that was her transformation from weak girl to queen.

4. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end, and why?

I'd like to see Dany take the throne. It is her throne by birth and by law she should be on it. I'd like to see a relationship between The Hound and Sansa (yes, I know I'm weird). However, you can't deny that there are some "feelings" between the two of them. And Sandor needs a little love because I think he is very misunderstood. I also think that something is missing from the whole "killing Mycah" event.
I try not to think too far ahead because when I do that I usually end up figuring out the end and that's just disappointing.

After a short initial Lannister vibe, the thing switched quickly to Martell mainly because of:
I'm quick to judge. I have a horrendous temper. Humor. Loyalty. Loosing the people I care for. I 'm a perfectly capable person on my own, and I don't need a relationship to define who I am in any way. If I don't like something or someone, I'm not gonna lie and I say that I do. I don't pretend. The ability to change my appearance. The last one being something that reminds me of the Sphinx (presumely Alleras=Sarella)

And well, to your question about Jon, I'm not overly fond of him. I like him allright but a few rereads made me see some of his flaws I fear =)

I so agree with [livejournal.com profile] guad I started out saying Lannister and by the time I got to your quote and best/worst qualities I was feeling more Martell. Both are very "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken", you will fit well in Dorne I think.

Well, its a toss up between Lannister and Stark. Yeah, weird, I know, but I'm odd like that. Truth be told, though, you sound more Lannisterly than Stark, so I'm throwing you to the lions.

I don't really see the Martell, but that could be in part because you seem to be very... hmm, well, you do say you don't always listen to the opinions of others and that if someone says something you don't like on a first meeting, you pretty much dismiss them. Neither of these things seem very Dornish to me.

I did see a lot of Lannister in there, but I think in the end that I'm going to agree with [livejournal.com profile] etrangere, I think there's something of the Greyjoy in you, parts of your app remind me of Asha.

Lannister, Stark or Greyjoy definitely. I think I'll go with Greyjoy because you're honest, hardcore and don't buy things you don't need.

You'll find out a bit more about the Greyjoys in AFFC...and to be clear cause some people take it that way...it's not meant as an insult at all. I think the Greyjoys are pretty cool.

Also, you'll see a lot of Sansa/Sandor art and fic here, no worries. :)

I almost missed this ap! At first, I was seeing Lannister. The way you described your house seemed very Lannister to me, and fear of failing is definitely Lannister. But by the end, I switched to Martell. Hot tempered/quick to judge are very Martell-y flaws. And your best qualities are even more telling, especially being genuine. I have a feeling you and Oberyn would share a similiar world view.

I hope you realize that you'll be dealing with some Lannisters inside the community? Re: that "His name is Lannister, but that's not who is his," comment (which I assume reads "who he is", since I can't make sense of it otherwise). The houses are rarely as bad as some people outside the comm think.

The black and white ways bring to mind Tully or perhaps Martell, since you don't seem to have Targaryen despite the "don't wake the dragon" temper. You sound more like Arya (in the entire application) than Sansa, btw, in relation to what you say of Gregor. Very angry. Stark was my first thought from 6, for example, but no. I'm not seeing any true Lannister qualities, but what I do see is that Arya Stark like no nonsense vibe of some sorts.

Black and white however reflects the most the Greyjoy house in the end, same as no nonsense (and even mentioning easy robbery?). 6 was Stark on the "Winter is coming and the world is a bad place" side, btw, but it doesn't reflect the pack side of Starks. Every Greyjoy has to tend to their own well-being and keep going if they are to survive and thrive. The quote seems very that. 9.2 reflects the "I only listen to myself (and at most those few I've deemed okay)" vibe Greyjoys have going on. You even value being able to take care of yourself (and kick butt), which is what they do.

I'm still a little meh I got no Greyjoy votes when I applied. Meh.
