Having read the comments, I find myself swayed! So I'm re-voting Martell. I do think your general flavor is a bit of something else, but you might be a quieter Dornishperson, and the diversity and pursuit of knowledge and *relative* down-to-earthness (compared to Targ, anyway) could all work in that one. I still like what you said about Jorah, btw, so I'm repasting my comment :D :
I love the way you explain why Jorah is among your favorite characters. You're right, he IS tough to pull off for those reasons you stated and that's the kind of writing that makes ASOIAF particularly special to me.
