Aw, poor Stannis, he's not really boring, you just have to see past the grumpiness. ;)
Anyway, I think you would actually fit into a lot of houses. Mostly Stark and Targaryen, tbh. I think I'll go with the latter because of your love for knowledge, your desire to travel and see different places/times, your fear of failure.
