<lj-cut text ="Westerosorting Application">NOTE: This is seittik, posting from a new account I made so I could see one of my friend's lj accounts. Seeing as no one on here probably remembers me on account of my lack of activity (not blaming your memories) I thought I might as well just repost my application with some changes.

All About You
1. Describe your ideal house/home. Please go into as much detail as possible, and be sure to include your ideal geographical location in the description! Somewhere in the mountains. I'm thinking Glacier National Park, since the mountains there are nicer than any other ones I've ever seen. I feel very at peace in the mountains. I visited Delphi in Greece for only a few days, and I really liked it there, as well. I might end up in the Midwest, though, since I'm thinking about going to college there. I would also like to be near a decent sized city, but I do not have a desire to live in the center of it, so long as I could have somewhat easy access to it. My old application also listed the desert as a desirable place to live, but after a backpacking trip in a desert, I've decided that I really wouldn't want to live in one, but visiting them is just fine.
2. Name three things you are afraid of. Explain. Losing the people and animals I love. It's something that's always scared me. Deepest fear I have. I guess it's a pretty generic fear, but it's still a fear. Drowning's another one. I'm not that great at swimming, and I rather enjoy being able to breathe and see (I need glasses to see clearly more than a hand's span from my face) so that's drowning explained. And falling from great heights freaks me out a lot too, even though I'm not scared of heights at all.
3. Imagine you're given the classic opportunity: a genie granting you three wishes. What would you wish for? Please be as elaborate as you can. Wishing for more wishes is not permitted! For my dogs to have the same lifespans and humans! I love my dogs, I've already lost one because he got hit by a car, and I really wish I could have them for a lifetime. Another wish... cancer to be cured. I haven't lost someone personally close to me because of it, but many of the deaths of people I know, or people that know people I know, have been because of it. It nearly killed my dog and it did kill Dio, and those seem like good enough reasons for me to want it gone. Wish number 3... For all of A Song of Ice and Fire to come out before I graduate college. And world peace...
4. In your life so far, what accomplishment are you the most proud of? Why? You can list more than one if you have trouble deciding. My NaNoWriMo 2008 novella. It was only 110 pages double-spaced, poorly plotted and it took two months, but it's more than I've ever written before. I had fun with it. I think I also wrote the last 10 to 15 pages in one day. I've also learned to developed film in a black and white darkroom. It's not that much of an accomplishment, really, but it's still something I'm proud of and I can have fun with.
5. Which of the following is most important to you: Love, Money, Knowledge, Family, Friendship, Adventure, or Pleasure? Which is the least important to you? Please explain why for each choice. It's a tie between love and friendship for the most important one. I believe that they are closely related to each other, on account of loving your friends. Least important... I'd say money, even though I like money quite a but.
6. What's one quote (or passage, song lyric, etc.) that effectively describes you and your values? Quotes don't come easily to me, and most of the quotes I can think of at the moment are all quotes telling stories and have no really describing effect on me. I apologize for the odd sentence structure.
7. How do you manage your money? On that note, how important is money/financial security to you? Go into as much detail as you can. I think I managed my money relatively well, unless I go into a bookstore or used CD store, those being the two places I can spend the most money. I utilize the library system because it saves me money, plus I can browse at leisure. I'm 17, so I don't have much personal money to manage, but I like feeling financially secure.
8. Name (and elaborate on) some of your hobbies. What are your favorite things to do outside of school/the office? Reading (brick sized fantasy books, smaller-than-brick-sized fantasy books, Neil Gaiman's Sandman books and his novels, Terry Prattchet, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, so many others!), photography (landscapes, sunsets, anything really), writing (I just enjoy it. I've enjoyed making up stories for quite awhile, so writing came relatively easily), and listening to music (mainly metal)
9. Name (and elaborate on) your top three BEST and top three WORST qualities (personality-related, not physical). Please answer as fully as you can, as this is an important question. Best- I can listen. I think it helps me get along with people, which I believe to be a valuable skill. It also keeps me from talking over people all the time, since I spend much more time listening to other people talk..I'm slow to anger. I'm likely to stay on pretty good terms with someone so long as they don't try to change me into who they want me to be or try to get a friend of mine expelled from school, especially over something really stupid. Only in the last scenario am I quick to anger. I'm curious. I like knowing things. It leads me to just start reading things, in the hope to gain knowledge. Sometimes it even works. Worst- I hold grudges. I'm much more of a quiet grudge holder. I'm not constantly mad at a person and I don't try to hard for revenge; usually the most I'll do is try to have as minimal contact as possible with the person I dont like. I'm pretty shy around new people when I'm the one being introduced and most other people around know each other. I am however getting better at this, since I seem to have a knack for befriending random dudes at metal shows and chatting with college admissions people. I'm perfectly fine around friends and people I like, but if I'm surrounded by people I don't know, I'll retreat into a corner or play with the dog or something. I'm reclusive. I've gone whole summers with only seeing friends three or four times, because I just never got around to getting back in contact. Part of it is laziness, but sometimes I just don't really like being around people all that much. I often prefer my books and my dogs to constant human company.

1.Who are your favorite three characters in the series? Why? I like Tyrion a lot. He makes me laugh, and even though he's an ass sometimes he's POV chapters are enjoyable to read (for me at least). Mance Rayder's intrigued me too, but I can't really say why. I guess it's because he's a bit different from characters I'm used to running across in books. Sandor Clegane has also intrigued me, for similar reasons as Mance.
2.Who are your least favorite three characters in the series? Why? Vargo Hoat. He creeps me out and I just don't like him. To whoever created the Unsullied (excluding of course George RR Martin), a pox be upon you! I don't have much love for the Freys, either. Since "the Freys" wasn't much of a specific answer, Joffrey was a spoiled and easy-to-hate character and I'm happy to see him gone.
3.#1 Favorite moment in all of ASOIAF so far? Why? That one where Jaime to Loras he'd stick his sword or whatever up a place not even Renly ever found. I also relished when Joffrey encountered pie and ended up dead.
4. In your dream-world, how would you like to see the series end, and why? Still working on finishing up A Feast for Crows, so that will be decided later. I just hope it ends with a good ending. Not necessarily a happy ending, but one that will feel to me like "yes. This ending was good. The series was complete."
