Hello, fellow stay-at-home Mommy. I am amazed at your natural birth. I went three hours with no drugs and finally begged for the drugs--and I thought my little guy was big at 8.5 pounds! (I ended up with a c-section, though...) Anyway, you should be very proud of yourself! Is your baby your first? Mine just turned 2 and he's so much fun...I remember 8 months being around the time I thought he was a lot of fun. :D
Oh, and I really feel you on the long-term friendships. If not for FB, I wouldn't keep up with anyone from my school days (and recently I dumped a bunch of those people who I didn't even really consider friends anymore); I just find it so hard to keep relating to people when I've moved on and changed from how I was when I knew them. I feel like not a lot of people get that?
