Your positives and negatives seem kind of un-Starky, I suppose, but it does fit a bit. Ned is loyal, and sometimes Stark knees can be stiff. Independence could be seen as being comfortable in isolation, which fits the North.
Okay, well, I see tons of Lannister as well, pretty much as strong as Stark and it's making me have a hard time deciding, but I'll go with Stark for now.
