Targaryen! I thought about Martell for a minute and even a cuddly sort of Lannister for a second, but I kept coming back to Targaryen. Knowledge, love, intelligence, and academia... and most of all your outrage at social injustice. Waking the dragon indeed! ;) It's all very reminiscent of Dany and Rhaegar especially.
