Well around here people's sorting criteria definitely goes past Theon's negative aspects, it's also about their assertiveness and wish to earn things for themselves and their humor and often enough their sensibility, as can be seen in Asha, who is pretty damn cool. Sometimes people who get Martell votes also get Greyjoy votes because they have comparable exuberance and energy and love of adventure and lust for life.
Anyway, I'm glad you came back to be sorted, seeing people's reasonings was really fun for me when I was sorted :)
