I'm about halfway through the series so far. I've been having some trouble getting my hands on the books since they're sold out in most of the bookstores near me and the library has something like 250 holds on the first returned copies which is ridiculous. The power of television! I couldn't wait to find out what happened so I looked everything up.
As for the Sansa bile, what makes her particularly insidious to me is that the things she does that I dislike are pretty subtle. With characters like Cersei, they're so plainly wicked that it's hard to relate to their circumstances. Sansa feels more like a regular person in difficult circumstances which makes her a more interesting character but also makes it easier to put myself in her shoes and say "Well, I would never!" I know people like her in real life and I don't have a very high opinion of that sort of woman. Maybe it's an unforgiving stance but there you have it.
