First of all, allow me to thank you! The Martells are my absolute favourites (ties with the Starks, who were my very first love), and being placed among their ranks pleases me to the highest degree.
And secondly, dreading violence isn't the same thing as avoiding it; I'm known for my quick temper, and verbal violence is sometimes as bad as physical one. I just think that this world would be 90% better if there were no wars, guns, murders or rapes within.
About the pointy things, ah well. Needles are an exception. I'm very fond of swords and knives, and would have loved to practice fencing or similar stuff :).
